WALT Write a summary at the end of each chapter 

In my reading group we are reading 'When the Kehua calls' at the end of each chapter we have to write a summary about what happened in the chapter and draw a picture to go along with it. We come back to this work to recap on what happened in the chapter if we forgot or something.

I think I should work on making my chapter summarys more interesting.

WALT I am learning to use deseiptive laungauge to help me describe what happened in the chapters I read.

So what I had to make a summary for all the chapters I have read to remind me what happened to refresh my memmery to help me understand the book more.

Next step I think I should work on making the summaries more indepth

Descriptive writing

WALT write descriptively using an adding on details card 

I learnt how to make a picture in the readers mind.

I think I should work on not just saying I feel, I smell, I hear, I see, etc I should describe it instead.

We had to write a story about miss coads great grandma and it had to be about one of her expirences 

In life, we used a adding detail chart to help us with our story's

WALT practise your spelling                                                                   I learnt how to spell words

I was searching for my shoes but they had disappeared                            I didn't know before.

broccoli and ice cream doesn't go well together                                         I think I should work on

I was excited  about my friends birthday party                                           changing my spelling

I grabbed my bag on the way out the door to go to school                        words every week.

I hopped to my bedroom to grab my school book

my friend went to the hospital because she brook her arm

my friend is probably going to the park with me after school

I went straight to a teacher when I hurt myself

cross country

on Wednesday the 6 of may we had cross country 

the year 5 girls raced together I came 1 Maddy 2 and Siobhan 3 it was really fun but at the same time hard 

this is a photo of us no the stand
